Kenyan coffee beans fetch handsome prices at international auctions, and for good reason. For generations, Kenya’s growers have pushed the envelope, testing the limits of farming and processing capabilities. The main growing regions extend from the 17,000 foot peak of Mount Kenya all the way to the outskirts of capital city Nairobi, to the south of the country. The intricate “Kenyan process” produces the gold standard with regards to acidity and brightness, famous for yielding fruity, clean and complex flavor profiles.
